Camp Clearing.

He Looked at Leaf, Confused. "Erm..." He Mewed.

"G-Get SnakePaw"
"He will... U-unless any of your guys know"

Nods,"Ok!I'll go get him."Bounds away to look for him.

She nodded
She looked at Shadow
She sighed

SandStorm limped into the clearing, blood coming from her sides and back. She muttered, "Mousebrain DoveShadow.." She winced, heading towards the med. den.

She raced out of the med den and almost ran into SandStorm,"Umm..LeafPool's hurt and i cant find Snakepaw..."Glances at your wounds."What happened?!"

"DoveShadow attacked me in the Tall Grasses." She smirked, "I need some cobwebs and a pain killer."

She Yowled in pain as she knew something
Her paws bone was now stuck in the way it was.
Her paw was going to be the wrong way
A small cut oozed out blood
She winced as she got up
she walked on her paw, needing to get use to it
She looked at her paw and huffed a sigh

Sand sighed, "LeafPool, you are not going to be able to do your duties..SnakePaw will probably become medicine cat. And you," She frowned, "Will probably be admitted to the Elder's den." She looked for BirdStar, "I will have a talk with BirdStar. I know she will do the best for SunClan."

(Lazy)

She hissed
"Do not doubt me SandStorm"
"I-I am fine"
"Just because my paw is different, it doesnt mean i cant Do my job"

She hissed, "I am the deputy. Do not tell me what I can't and can't do. You obviously won't be able to do much with a useless paw.."

LeafPool: She slunk back and was hit by SandStorms words
"V-Very well"
She looked at her paw
"Its not un usefull... its good for getting prey and digging and herbs an-"
She sighed

She shook her head, "No, LeafPool...You can't do anything with it." She frowned, "Why don't we just wait for BirdStar to decide?"

"No!"
"I can do anything!"

She looked at LeafPool sympathetically,"I'm not medicine cat but i would say just exercise it...it might help.Then it might not be completely useless."She gave her a hopeful smile and then glanced to SandStorm,"Here i will run and get you some cobwebs and poppyseeds!"She dashed off to the med den and came back with some of each.She pressed the cobwebs onto your wounds,"Ok, that should stop the bleeding.And here,eat these poppyseeds and go rest for a while."She flicked her tail and padded up to leaf and whispered,"Dont worry, your paw will be fine." She padded off, not quite positive her words were true.

" Don't give up on LeafPool like that SandStorm! She has been a loyal medicine cat and always will be, you expect her to just decide to become an elder? Her paw might never be the same, but she'll ALWAYS be our medicine cat until it her time to join StarClan!" Sniffs," If I know BirdStar, she'll say the same" flicks ear.

She looked at Shadow, glad to have a backup
She looked at Sandstorm then down

"Thanks Shadow"
She looked at him
She sighed

nods," Anytime"

"Now if you excuse me, i need to get my herbs ready"
She limped of to her den

SandStorm looked down and closed her eyes, keeping from crying. "I was just trying to be a good deputy..." She looked at her healing wounds and back at ShadowBringer. She shook her head, grief welling in her eyes. She stood up and limped away towards the warrior den.

Watches her go, a bit of pity for the deputy then shakes it away and pads towards the warriors den.

Glances at SandStorm, wanting to go and comfort her but i think better of it, thinking maybe she wants to be alone.

SandStorm padded out of the Warrior Den, feeling much better. She set out to go hunting.

StormPaw trudges out of the apprentice's den. He twitches an ear, watching the other cats.
