Forum Ranks.

You do still have a chance to become staff if you have broken a rule, you just have to prove yourself that you would act responsibly when put in places of power. If you have broken more than one rule and the rule is serious, you will have no chance at all of becoming staff.

A D M I N I S T R A T O R (Admin)

Administrators are people assigned the highest level of control over the entire board. These people can control all facets of board operation which include setting permissions, banning users, creating usergroups or moderators, etc. They also have full moderator capabilities in all the forums. A S S I S T A N T A D M I N I S T R A T O R

Helps the admin out, has all the power in the forum EXCEPT acess to the admin panel. They are in control of the forum when the admin is not there or is on vacation/break. They are close with the admins and are highly respected and trusted. They are usually previous moderators. They cannot approve members though. They do have chatbox power.

M O D E R A T O R (Mod)

Moderators are individuals (or groups of individuals) whose job it is to look after the running of the forums from day to day. They have the power to edit or delete posts and lock, unlock, move, delete and split topics in the forum they moderate. Generally, moderators are there to prevent people going off-topic or posting abusive or offensive material. (As quoted from FAQ. Disclaimer: I did not type this.)

Moderators should be able to handle and solve situations involving troublesome users with speed. They should also be active on these forums, and know how to use good spelling and grammar. They must be mature, and not flame any user. They must follow all the rules for the forum. They should be on the forum at least twice a day, most days of the week, with the acception of holidays, so they can solve problems users have as swiftly as possible. Mod's do have chatbox power. H E L P E R (Junior Staff)

Helper's help out the moderators, hence the name 'Helper', they do not have any power, but they do have there own subject in the forum, they are respected and trusted in the forum, like every other staff member, and someday they might become a moderator, but they rarely do.
