Characters History: Crookedstripe was mentor of Yellowtail. He was sent on a patrol to run a fox out of the territory, but broke his leg when it was trapped in a rabbit hole. He had to retire to the elder's den early, and Yellowtail left Duskclan to be a rogue, never to come back again.

*Crookedstripe led the patrol through the forest, avoiding twigs that might snap and leaves that might crack. He kept low to ensure his safety as he led the other cats through the pines. He stiffened when he heard something moving up ahead. Signaling to his patrol to keep quiet with a twitch of his tail, he screwed up his eyes against the darkness of the forest. Sure enough, just a few fox-lengths ahead of him, stood a fox and its cub. The fur on his shoulders and neck began to bristle, but he kept calm, waiting for a moment to attack. This is it, he thought, This is the day I'll finally be recognized!*
